Pita bread
Ingredients:
500 gr wholemeal flour
50cc olive oil
300gr water
100g wholemeal sourdough
8gr salt
Place the water in the flour and mix well, let it rest for an hour covered.
after an hour add the sourdough and olive oil, knead and integrate everything homogeneously for 5 min
after kneading place in a lightly oiled container for about 3 hours, after an hour and a half knead and add the salt and let stand for an hour and a half more
then place the dough on the table and cut it into portions and make small balls and let it rest for 20 minutes covered
preheat oven to 250°C
flour is placed on the table and the balls are flattened with the roller, take to the oven at 250 degrees centigrade for 6 minutes, the oven must be very hot for the bread to inflate properly.
